IGPDecaux supports the 26th edition of World Routes, the world's most important event in the airline industry, which gathers decision-makers from airlines, airports and tourism organisations in Milan from 10 to 12 October.
Hosted by SEA Aeroporti di Milano, in cooperation with Regione Lombardia, the Municipality of Milan, ENIT - the Italian National Tourism Agency - and Bergamo Airport, this edition of World Routes aims to develop a strategy to accelerate the recovery of a sector deeply affected by Covid-19.
The airport environment is for IGPDecaux one of its most prestigious media to which it applies its communication solutions capable of reaching all passengers and maximising the effectiveness of the message thanks to the possibility of speaking to users in a continuous, close-up manner, distracting them and making their waiting at the airport colourful and pleasant. Moreover, IGPDecaux has a long and consolidated collaboration with SEA: it could therefore only support this very important event.
It did so with a dedicated campaign that paraded through the streets of Milan on a fully decorated jumbo tram and on city buses with maxi-sides and side banners; it was also featured on the Mupis in the Underground. The campaign was also developed through various installations inside the Linate and Malpensa airports and was also featured on the Vision circuits inside the two airports.
'Supporting this initiative', says Emmanuel Courcol, Commercial Director Airports of IGPDecaux, 'means for IGPDecaux supporting the actions that will be decided by the most important operators in the sector in one of the most crucial historical phases for the world of air transport: the recovery of connectivity and traffic volumes. This means also relaunching our Out of Home medium, which has been equally affected in these 18 months. We are already seeing the first strong signs: brands are investing again in our spaces, recognising the value of pleasant communication close to the travelling people'.
