After the success of the wine tastings with Enoteca Esselunga, it was time to toast with Elisenda panettone and pandoro, Esselunga's haute patisserie line, created in collaboration with the Cerea brothers from the Michelin-starred restaurant “Da Vittorio”.
To celebrate Christmas with the iconic sweets of the tradition, Esselunga carried out, in collaboration with the Brand Solutions team from IGPDecaux, a full wrapped “tram event”, dedicated to tasting the Christmas pastries from its Elisenda line.

Surrounded by the festive lights of the city, the Milanese had the opportunity to experience an unforgettable journey aboard a historic tram, full wrapped, that went through the streets of central Milan, transforming into a traveling pastry shop. For one week, from December 12 to 18, between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM, the tram offered its passengers a delicious break, with tastings of “panettone”, “pandoro” and “veneziana”, served with glasses of sparkling wine.

Esselunga “tram event” by IGPDecaux, combining the joy of the journey with the tasting of traditional sweets, offered a memorable experience. It was a fun way to make the city feel an integral part of the holidays, strengthening the connection between the brand and its audience. The tram, with its cozy and familiar atmosphere, became the ideal stage to showcase the excellence of Italian pastries.
This initiative demonstrated, thanks to numerous sign-ups, how a historical means of transport can become an effective communication tool, capable of conveying positive messages and creating a festive atmosphere. Definitely a winning choice.
In this way, Esselunga wanted to wish everyone "Happy Holidays" by offering a moment of pleasure.
