SKY - with the operational support of IGPDecaux Live- pays tributes to the city of Milan with a majestic Christmas Tree, 30 meters high, with 100.000 led lights and more than 700 Christmas balls. The Lightening Ceremony will be hold on Wednesday December 6th starting from 4.30 pm and the tree will be lightened until January 7th.
At the bottom of the tree, 2 led walls will be placed to display Christmas wishes from clients, employees and Sky front man, as well as from citizens that, thanks to the Hashtag #Natallegria, could display the most original and fun messages.
The tree has been chosen in collaboration with the Trentino Alto-Adige Forest Rangers fully respecting the environment. As a matter of fact, it was already intended to be knocked down for security reasons, since it overcame heights security standards. Sky intends to coordinate all activities for its reuse, through a project focused on designing street furniture of public utility, in collaboration with the Sky Academy and the Design Department of the Politecnico di Milano.
