Campus Party presents its formats, IGPDecaux supports them
An official press conference was held in Palazzo Marino to present Campus Party, who will open its gates in one-month for the very first time in Italy, with a series of innovative format initiatives. Hackathons and Calls for Ideas, will take the best out of young participants; while Workshops and Keynotes will inspire them.
For instance, Federico Faggin (the Italian guy who started in Olivetti, reached the Silicon Valley and co-designed the very first commercial microprocessor), Neil Harbisson and Moon Ribas (a couple of Catalan artists who explore new revolutionary forms of union between cybernetics and organisms), Chance Glasco (Doghead Simulations CCO, Virtual Reality Startup) and Roberto Saviano (renowned Italian novelist).
Another format encouraging young digital-creatives are Contests. IGPDecaux embraced and supported two of these particular format as remarked by CEO Fabrizio du Chène de Vère "When Campus Party introduced us to its mission, we immediately thought it was perfectly matching our goals. There is no better occasion to discover the way young talents see the world of Out Of Home and how and the ideas that can arise from their fresh, creative and original gaze? Keep up with the good work guys!".
The first Contest aims at rewarding those top talents able to design creative campaigns promoting the Italian edition of Campus Party on IGPDecaux's OOH Network. The latter, CPHack “Outdoor advertising for changing cities”, aims at challenging kids on finding new ways for ICTs to contributing to OOH evolution, both on a media and public service extent. For all format details, we recomend the step by step video tutorial series explaining how to subscribe to the contest.
